Finding Jesus

We must find Jesus

To find life

We must find Jesus

To survive

Can’t look to a saint

Can’t look to a statue

Can’t look to Mary

Nor to your own virtue

There is only one way

To find the Lord

And that in repentance

It’s really not that hard

But first you must admit

You’re a sinner for sure

If you really want to have

The life that endures

We must come to Him

The way of the cross

Or in the end

All will be lost

The law shows the need

The cross shows the answer

Without the sin

You don’t need a Savior

By the works of the law

No flesh will be saved

Only by the blood

Can sin be repaid

Oh, sinner come quickly

To the endless flow

Then seeds of righteousness

You’ll begin to sow

Only things done

For the Savior above

Will make it through the fire

And make it through the flood
